Revell produced two series of these. The first was in 1960 and called, "The 50th Anniversary of Naval Aviation" and included collector cards and stamps from their Famous Artist Series box art in each kit. After a suit filed by the Artists Guild, Revell was forced to re-release them as the "Development of Naval Flight" series. The box art was renamed Famous Aircraft Series and the cards were still included, but the stamps were not.
